1. What religion do you follow? Sikh

4. Do you believe in magic? I believe that magic is a lazy-man's shortcut for not learning about something he can't understand
5. What was the last promise you broke? I don't remember breaking a promise. Maybe when I got divorced t years back...

7. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? For the most part, yes. I didn't want any "stuff" I just wanted to be around folks that cared about me. Thanks to my training partner and his totally cool family, I got a lot more of that than I would have spending it with people that somehow share my genetic structrure.
8. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? That what happens is in my best interest.
9. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? Yeah, that human side overwhelms my vulcan blood sometime

11. Do you gamble? Not seriously...but I do like playing Texas Hold 'em on the computer. It's a lot more fun when it's play money
12. Have you ever had something called off on account of bad weather, but then gone ahead and done it anyway? How could I have done it if it was called off?
13. What causes do you support? My big on right now is focused on a local martial artist with MS.
14. What causes have you given money or time to? My former house of worship, education for economically disadvantaged kids, and public safety efforts. I also suppored fiscally-conservative causes until the born-agains and the neo-cons crapped all over the right wing.
15. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? Not directly but my former house of worship has and I've contributed cash or goods for their efforst
16. Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? No.
17. Do you give money to the homeless on the street? If they are street musicians, yes, otherwise, no.

19. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? That is between me, the friend, and the Almighty.

22. Who is your favorite super hero, and why? Tough choice. Tie between Spiderman and Wonder Woman. Spidey because he is introspective and geeky. Wonder woman because....she's Wonder Woman! Say No More!

28. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? I tried to join the Naval Reserves 2 years a go and didn't qualify to join. So...asking me if I'd go is not really fair because I know I'll be 4F'ed

40. Who is the wisest person you know? Rick L, Wise enough to cure himself of bladder cancer at age 70 and can STILL run 2-3 times as far as I can.
