children and violence. i saw this teenage boy push this girl up against the wall and besides me yelling at him, no one seemed to care that much. kids have to know that it's not right to hit people or else they'll grow up and think it's ok. i flashed to this kid's future as a husband who abuses his wife and her as this girl who's stuck in an abusive relationship. it really bothered me... |

i really don't know it's taking me so long to answer this question... i guess a good answer is j.k. rowling. she was on welfare and then wrote harry potter and made herself known around the world. not only are the books inspiring, they got kids all over the world excited about reading. and with her money and time she helps kids and good causes. |

i have soooo many favorite movies i wouldn't be able to narrow it to one. but right now i really like "little miss sunshine". my favorite actress... i have a lot that come to mind. i'm going to say nicole kidman just because of her body of work. she's done a wide variety of different roles and is great at each one. even if i hated the movie, like dogville. favorite actor... same situation, but i'm going to go with haley joel osment because in every movie he's done he's made me cry. |
