| 1. What religion do you follow? |
None. I consider myself Atheist/Agnostic. |
| 2. What religion were you raised as? |
I was raised Roman Catholic. |
| 3. Do you believe that forgiveness is a religious property, or a human property? |
It's a human property. |
| 4. Do you believe in magic? |
Kinda not really :p Haha. |
| 5. What was the last promise you broke? |
I don't remember... to be honest, I try not to promise something if there is any doubt in my mind at all. |
| 6. Do you believe that anyone could be perfect? |
No. And isn't that obvious? |
| 7. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? |
Sure! I have Candice. That's all I really wanted. |
| 8. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? |
My life is pretty good. What more can I want? Staying with Candice. Marriage. A fulfilling job, I suppose - but not one that takes up too much time. :p Being able to live in the heart of a big city. Some cool friends to hang with. |
| 9. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? |
Sometimes, yeah. I try to fight it but my hopes are hard to resist. :p I tend not to get too down, though, if it doesn't work out. |
| 10. Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? |
Yes, but only because a friend wanted me to buy one with her. |
| 11. Do you gamble? |
No. I'm generally opposed to gambling. |
|
|
| 12. Have you ever had something called off on account of bad weather, but then gone ahead and done it anyway? |
Yes. This strikes me as a weird question. |
| 13. What causes do you support? |
I don't actively support any causes at the moment, but I tend to follow the typical liberal causes. :p |
| 14. What causes have you given money or time to? |
I donated several hundred dollars to a wildlife fun in Canada. |
| 15. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? |
I think I did some volunteer work a few times back in NJ - for the community, and for politics... I haven't done much lately. |
| 16. Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? |
Sure. My friend Mike and I talked about this a bit at one point. But we didn't follow through. |
| 17. Do you give money to the homeless on the street? |
Not usually, no. But I have made exceptions at times. |
| 18. Have you ever helped out a friend with basic needs, like rent or food? |
Yeah. I'm a sucker for a good friend. I'll sacrifice to help them. |
| 19. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? |
Hmmm... I gave a friend $650 so that he didn't get kicked out of his apartment. |
| 20. What are you most afraid of? |
Dying, I suppose. Me or Candice. |
| 21. What did you do today that was really brave? |
Hahaha. It's pretty early in the day for me. I guess the bravest thing I did was wake up. Haha. |
| 22. Who is your favorite super hero, and why? |
Hmm... I guess I'd say the Hulk is my favorite story, based on the TV show. It was a pretty tragic story and I kind of dug that. |
|
|
| 23. Would you put your life in danger to rescue someone? . |
Probably, yeah. But that's because I feel like I'm immortal. I'd have no fear about running into a burning building to save someone I cared for. |
| 24. If you were to face the Wizard of Oz, would you want more courage, more brains, or more heart? |
Hmmm... I'm pretty happy on all three counts. But if I have to pick... I'd say... more brains? You can always be smarter, I guess. :) |
| 25. Have you ever gotten stage fright? |
Yes. Every time. |
| 26. Do you consider yourself to be a leader or a follower? |
I'm generally a follower, so long as the leader is generally doing what I want. Haha. :p |
| 27. Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? |
Weird! I was just thinking about this today. I've been summoned twice, but I was not able to attend either time. |
| 28. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? |
I would definitely not go. The current regime and the current war is ludicrous and I will not risk my life for it. I would be back in Canada before you could say, "Eh." And Candice would be by my side. |
| 29. Do you support capital punishment (the death penalty)? |
"No I do not. No I do not! Take it back!" Capital punishment is too final. |
| 30. Which should be guaranteed legal: cocaine, marijuana, heroin? |
All three *should* be legal, but of the three: marijuana, no argument. It's the safest of the three, and there's no reason it shouldn't be legal. |
| 31. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? |
Rightfully? Yes, of course. I don't buy into the Diebold controversy. But there's no way the man should have even been in the running for president. |
| 32. What was your favorite media circus trial? |
I don't follow trials. :\ If they called me to serve on an OJ jury, and the only condition was that I could not have my opinion colored by having seen anything on the news, I would make the cut. :p |
| 33. What do you have the hardest time moderating yourself on? |
Hmmm... sometimes I think I spend too much time putzing around on the internet. Is that what this question means? I'm pretty good about everywhere else, and I'm not awful with the putzing about, either. |
|
|
| 34. Do you collect anything? |
From time-to-time, I get caught up in something. I tend to only collect things that I have ready access to and are either cheap or free. I got into collecting quarters with the states for a while, as an example. I've collected comics off-and-on (more for entertainment than investment). |
| 35. Are you addicted to anything? |
Caffeine, assuredly. But I honestly could (seriously) quit at any given time. If I wanted. But I don't. Haha. I don't have any hardcore addictions, though. There's nothing I couldn't give up. Except Candice. :) |
| 36. Have you ever put anything on layaway or used an installment plan? |
Well, I leased my car for four years. :p Haha. In general, I hate debt. I hate payments. I want it done and over with as quickly as possible so I never have to worry about it again. |
| 37. What's your preferred method of paying for things? |
Cash. I'm retro. :p |
| 38. Tell us one thing you wish you hadn't let yourself do: |
I would change... nussing! Everything has led to where I am. There's nothing I would want to take back. |
| 39. Do you feel that you obsess over things? |
Yeah. I do have a bit of the OCD in me. I'm not awful about it, but I definitely have compulsions. It takes effort to resist, though I can. :) In a general sense, though, I obsess over Candice. ;) |
| 40. Who is the wisest person you know? |
Wisest? Hmmm... Mike is showing lots of wisdom in some recent mails. Stevie, though, is probably the wisest person I know who isn't family. |
| 41. Have you ever participated in a vigil? |
I think I walked through one, once. Hahaha. But no, I don't think I have ever participated in one. |
| 42. Do you take advice when it's given? |
I try to. I always think on it. It'll stick in my head. If it makes sense, it'll filter through. |
| 43. What area are you wisest in? |
I'm not sure. I guess in areas of prioritization? Maybe? I mean, I think I'm pretty good at acknowledging the important of something and downplaying it accordingly. It's part of my anti-stress mechanism. But that's just a guess. |
| 44. Do you drive defensively? |
Very. I think I'm a great driver. I avoid others' blind spots. I maintain decent follow distance. I keep alert for bad drivers and avoid them. I'm generally pretty good at putting myself into a good position. |
| 45. Have you ever had unprotected sex outside of marriage? |
Of course! Hahaha. Why, I think a little unprotected sex outside of marriage sounds like a great plan for today. ;) |
| 46. What did you learn today? |
Uh... it's still early. OK, I'll include this 24-hour period (last night from midnight to tonight at midnight) and say that I've learned that I'm pretty good at this Bejewled/Columns-like game from Mario Party 8. Hahaha. :p |
